The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund offers grants for families of critically ill children. Families can use the money to pay for health insurance co-pays, medical supplies not covered by health insurance policies, medically necessary dietary supplements and foods and special equipment needed, such as wheelchairs, for children with disabilities. Families can also use grant money from the fund for non-medical needs like housing and transportation.
United Healthcare Children's Fund
The United Healthcare Children's Fund offers grants for seriously ill children. Families can use the money to pay for physical therapy, speech therapy, wheelchairs, hearing aids and other medical services and supplies. You can apply for a grant online. The Fund's website says it can take one to three months for a response so apply as soon as you realize you need assistance.
